With the season quickly upon us, it is the perfect time to take a break and enjoy some down time to enjoy the quiet of the season and take in the holiday lights, sights and sounds. And spending time in our port city of Duluth, and in one of our gorgeous, modern and romantic rooms at our Duluth Bed and Breakfast is the ideal setting!
The season starts on November 22nd with Duluth’s traditional, “Christmas City of the North Parade” through the streets of downtown Duluth; a quaint and charming way to get in the holiday spirit. A little bit of trivia about the song: it was recorded and performed by Merv Griffin. He actually flew in to Duluth back in the early 60’s, picked up the sheet music, and took it back to New York to record.
The annual “Bentleyville Tour of Lights” kicks off Saturday, November 23rd, the day following the parade. If you have not had a chance to take in this light show, this is the season! It is spectacular and it is not just for the young, but for the young at heart too! The Bentleyville Tour of Lights is a great way to share a romantic evening with that special someone, sipping hot chocolate, then coming back to Inn for a warm, relaxing whirlpool soak!
Besides the wonderful events taking place in Duluth during the holiday season, it is also one of the most beautiful times of the year to visit our gorgeous city. The sights and sounds are a unique blend of beauty and silence; and a time of year to reminisce and relax after enjoying a long, busy year!
Be sure to check out the specials that we are running during the holiday season, from the “Holiday Helper” to our “Ski and Stay” package, there is something for everyone at our Duluth Bed and Breakfast!
