That’s a tremendous change from the festival’s earliest days, where it was just 5 acts performing for a small group.  For these 8 musical days, an eclectic mix of “Rawk and/or Roll” will be pumped out from music venues around the city.  The 2018 lineup hasn’t been released yet, but will be soon.

As in previous years, wristbands will be available for the entire festival, or just weekends, and will allow you to move freely between venues.  In addition to that, the Homegrown Trolley will be providing free transportation to the various venues around the area on the weekends. If you miss it, don’t worry; many music venues are within easy walking distance from one another. There’s also a photo show during the Homegrown Music Festival, which is open for photographs dealing with musicians from the Duluth/Superior area, and the scene that happens around them.
