Enjoy Dinner and Date Night in Duluth
Our Duluth Bed and Breakfast is unbeatable as a romantic getaway destination. There is a reason the A.G. Thompson House has been voted as the top Bed and Breakfast in the country, and you’ll notice it from the first moment you arrive at our doorstep. The warm, sophisticated, and romantic atmosphere of our Inn captivates the very essence of romance. One of our favorite places to send guests for dinner when they’re looking for a good date night spot is Va Bene Berarducci’s Caffe. The Caffe offers a charming space inside their Solarium, which offers spectacular and protected lake views, perched just above the Lakewalk. Lake Avenue Cafe in Canal Park is also a great choice. As an added bonus, both of these restaurants are close to two of our favorite performance venues, which will round out your date night perfectly: The NorShor Theatre and Renegade Theater Company.
The Renegade Theater Company, located in the Zeitgeist Arts building has a great season lined up for 2018-2019. Their upcoming show, which runs from December 7 – 15th, is called Dear Elizabeth. They also offer improv every Friday and Saturday evening at 10:30 PM. The improv nights are always entertaining, as two teams compete for points and laughter. The best part, besides the incredible entertainment value, is tickets are only $6 at the door, and it requires very little advanced planning by you (though you can reserve seating and plan in advance if you want). The Historic NorShor Theatre, which was recently renovated and reopened, bringing playhouse shows, concerts, classic films, and more to center stage in Duluth’s revived Historic Arts and Theater District (HART). It’s an incredible destination, and one we can’t recommend enough to our guests.
No matter how much or how little of Duluth you end up seeing while here, we know time spent at our Minnesota Bed and Breakfast will be equal parts relaxing and memorable. We offer many wonderful packages and extra indulgences you can add on to your stay to make it just the way you want it. Book your romantic getaway with us today!
