Your journey will no doubt take you past ocean going ships, historic lighthouses, stunning sea cliffs and abundant wildlife. Here are just a few clever ideas that will make planning your boating trip in Duluth easier:

  • Get out and kayak Duluth’s many waterways. This summer, join them on a beautiful paddle on Lake Superior, with your final destination being the beautiful Glensheen Mansion, and their lively summer concert series.   • Try out the newest water craze, and SUP on the North Shore. Standup Paddle Boarding, otherwise known as SUPing, has become an increasingly popular water sport on Lake Superior and around the country. Northshore SUP offers rentals, classes, guided tours, and more.
  • If you want to sit back and enjoy a scenic sail on Lake Superior, a sailboat is the way to go. Amicus Adventure Sailing to offers two different boating packages; a day and evening sail.   • Join Day Tripper of Duluth on their one-of-a-kind Paddle and Pint Tour. The Duluth Yacht Club puts on a Wednesday Night Sailboat Race every Saturday. The best place from which to watch these weekly regattas is the historic courtyard at Fitgers Brewhouse
