This summer, join us for one of the biggest outdoor music festivals in the upper midwest. Each year, nearly 20,000 people descend upon Duluth’s Bayfront Festival Park, a beautiful outdoor venue in downtown Duluth. There, they are treated to more than 30 live musical acts over the course of three days during what is known as the Bayfront Blues Festival. The Bayfront Blues Festival has been delighting crowds for more than 30 years and promises more of the same this year. We still have limited availability for the festival weekend, so buy your tickets and book your room at our luxury Duluth Bed and Breakfast today.
Your Guide to the Bayfront Blues Festival
The 2019 Bayfront Blues Festival kicks off at 11:00 am on August 9 and continues from there for 3 fun-filled days. A complete schedule is available online. The main stage features nationally known stars, while the tent tends to showcase regional performers. Highlights of this year’s Blues Festival include Dee Miller, Sena Ehrhardt, Cole Allen, and Ross William Perry. Tickets are sold by general admission only. Depending on how many performances you want to see, you may want to buy a 3-day ticket. You can also buy single-day tickets if you’re only in town for a short amount of time or have other things planned for your time in Duluth. There’s also a late-night dance party on both Friday and Saturday night, from 9:45 – 11:15 pm in the Big Top Tent.
If you like live music but the big crowds of the Bayfront Blues Festival aren’t your scene, there are plenty of options to still enjoy some entertainment on the town in Duluth. There’s live music most nights of the week, especially during the summer months. The best place to stay up to date on the happenings around town is Twin Ports Nightlife.
