What began in 1999 as a birthday celebration of music and beer, now spanning 15 years, the Duluth Homegrown Music Festival has become a much anticipated annual event and celebration in the Twin Ports.
The Duluth Homegrown Music Festival spans 8 days of eclectic music of not particular genre performed by local musicians, beginning Sunday, April 27th and running through May 4th. Local artists can be found at various venues throughout the Twin Ports of Duluth and Superior. This “Rawk and/or Roll” reached a record 317 band submissions this year, surely making it one of the most successful and fun events to date.

On the weekend, the Homegrown Trolley will be providing free transportation to the various venues around the area, but many are within walking distance from one another.
If taking in the Homegrown Festival isn’t enough, another “homegrown” icon, Bob Dylan, is celebrated with the North Country Dylan Celebration 2014. Beginning May 17th through May 24th, this celebration offers several different options to enjoy and celebrate the artistry of an American icon.
