A Northern Minnesota tradition. The parade signals the beginning of the holiday season. Santa makes his first appearance along with colorful lighted floats, marching bands and pageantry. The parade features nearly 70 groups including 20 bands, a dozen dance groups, various local royalty courts, plus the “big guy in red.” The parade route begins at the KBJR 6 and Range 11 Studios at Lake Avenue South and Railroad Street in Canal Park. The parade travels up Lake Avenue to Superior Street and ends at 5th Avenue West.

Famous silent screen star Miss Ruby Devine will debut her singing talents this evening. But before a note is sung, a string of crimes occurs and bullets start flying! You are suddenly witness to a murder, and it’s up to you to find out whodunit. A non-stop murder mystery comedy set in a time and place you’ll never forget! 1930’s costumes are welcome, but optional!
